Replacement of approximately 1,425 linear feet of walking trail including removal of existing porous concrete and subsoil and installation of a porous asphalt walking trail consisting of crushed stone base course, non-woven geotextile fabric, intermediate course, and porous asphalt surface course, plus lawn restoration and bollard installation. Bonds: $20,000 Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Cost estimate range at $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project is for the replacement of approximately 1,425 linear feet of walking trail at Hershfield Park split between the Base Project ( 1,170 LF) and the Add Alternate (250 LF). The trail varies in width from 14 feet to 16 feet. The existing porous concrete walking and trail and subsoil is to be removed and replaced with a porous asphalt walking trail consisting of: a four (4) inch thick base course of 1-1/2" crushed stone; a layer of non-woven geotextile fabric; a two (2) inch thick intermediate course of 3/4" crushed stone and concrete sand mix; and a three (3) inch layer surface course of porous asphalt. The main items of construction and approximate quantities in the BASE BID include, but are not necessarily limited to : 1,800 SY of porous concrete walking trail (6” average thickness) removal; 320 tons of subsoil removal; 420 tons of 1-1/2" crushed stone; 240 tons of 3/4" crushed stone and concrete sand mix, 1,800 SY of geotextile fabric; 370 tons of porous asphalt pavement; 1,100 SY of lawn restoration; and, four (4) collapsible bollards.
