Site work and paving for a civil project in Gouldsboro, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work generally includes culvert replacement, ditching, shoulder grading, and localized roadbed reconstruction on Crowley Island Road, Corea Road, Cranberry Point Road, and Dyer Lane. Bidders must submit their bids on the enclosed Bid Form. Bids containing any conditions, omissions, unexplained erasures or alterations, items not called for in the Bid Form, attachments or additive information not required by the Invitation for Bids, or irregularities of any kind may be rejected. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope marked "2026 Road Prep Bid" and delivered by mail or by hand at the Gouldsboro Town Office. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids shall remain firm for a period of 60 days after the bid submission deadline. The municipal officers will award the contract based on proposed fixed price, relevant experience and documented performance, and capacity to execute the scope of work as outlined in the specification, including completion within the stated period of performance. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, accept or reject any or all bids, substantiate bidders' qualifications, and cancel the procurement at its sole discretion at any time before the contract is executed.
