Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gouldsboro, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of the paving of Crowley Island Road, Corea Road, Cranberry Point Road, and Dyer Lane, totaling approximately 1.75 miles. Bidders must submit their bids on the provided Bid Form, and bids containing any conditions, omissions, unexplained erasures or alterations, items not called for, attachments or additive information not required, or irregularities of any kind may be rejected. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Spring Paving 2026" and delivered by mail or by hand to the Town Office. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids may be withdrawn in writing before the submission deadline; after the deadline, bids must remain firm for 60 days. The contract will be awarded based on the proposed fixed price, relevant experience and documented performance, and capacity to execute the work as specified, including completion within the stated period. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and substantiate bidders' qualifications, capability, availability, and past performance. The Town may also cancel procurement at any time before contract execution. By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees to execute a contract with the Town in accordance with the included specifications within seven days of award.
