The work includes the installation and testing of approximately 400 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main with 2 concrete manholes and 6 6-inch diameter sewer services, along with 1,510 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main and 530 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main with 36 water services, valves, and 2 hydrants. Bidders must comply with requirements including the American Iron and Steel Act, Build America, Buy America Act, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, President's Executive Order No. 11246, Davis-Bacon Requirements, and various federal standards and regulations. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the total bid price and will require payment and performance bonds if the bid exceeds $125,000. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and no bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening.
