Renovation of a parking garage in Portland, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
All proposals shall remain open to acceptance for ninety (90) days from their opening. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified. Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the contract can be summarized as follows: The work consists of repairs to the steel framing fireproofing and cleaning/coating steel framing within the Car Rental Facility (CRF) at the Portland Jetport Parking Garage. The project also includes repairs to level 1 precast double tees, joints sealants and other waterproofing elements. Bids from vendors not registered with the Purchasing Office may be rejected; receipt of this document directly from the City of Portland indicates registration. Should a vendor receive this Invitation from a source other than the City, please contact 207-874-8654 to ensure that your firm is listed as a vendor for this bid. Pre-Bid Meeting Description: In the event of inclement weather, if Portland Schools and/or City operations have been cancelled, any scheduled pre-bid meetings will be cancelled as well. Please check the local media outlets, the City of Portland Public Schools website online and/or call the City's Purchasing Office, 207-874-8654 regarding any postponement. NOTE: Every effort will be made to provide as much forewarning as possible regarding these decisions.
