Description: Maine Federal Aid Project WIN 022382.00 Location: In Cumberland County, Relocated USI Route 1/ Interstate 295 Bridge over Interstate 295 approximately 0.2 of a mile northerly of Cumberland town line. Scope of Work: Relocated US Route 1/ Interstate 295 bridge replacement plus other incidental work. Question Deadline 07/07/2025 at 12:00 PM ET For Project-specific information fax all questions to Julie Brask at (207) 624-3431, use electronic RFI form or email questions to RFI-Contracts.MDOT@maine.gov, project name and identification number should be in the subject line. Questions received after noon of Monday (or if that Monday is a state holiday, Friday) prior to bid date will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. TTY users call Maine Relay 711. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation. The right is hereby reserved to the MaineDOT to reject any or all bids. ME DOT - Bridge Replacement - USI Route 1/ Interstate 295 DBE participation goal of 1.43%, MBE (0.6%), WBE (6.9%)
