As of 05/27/2020 Awarded to Ulland Brothers Inc. at a contract amount of $1,476,400.75. The project schedule has not been finalized at this point, but they are expecting the project to take place between July 1 and the end of October. Major components of the Work include: 3,000 SY 12 inch P501 PCC, 1,400 tons P403 bituminous pavement, 5,800 CY excavation, 1,000 CY P209 crushed aggregate base, 2,700 CY P154 granular borrow, pavement marking, turf restoration, and erosion control For this project, bids will ONLY be received electronically. Bids shall be completed according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by SEH dated April 17, 2020 Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Bidders may submit electronic surety through Bid Express or copies of paper bid bonds may be emailed to purchasing@duluthmn.gov, but must be sent and received prior to the bid opening date and time. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with City of Duluth, US Department of Labor and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. The City of Duluth reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City of Duluth.
