CONTRACT NO. 3 - Pedestrian Safety Crosswalks and Intersection Mast Arm Refinishing Improvements, generally consisting of the construction of pedestrian crosswalks, including, warning lights, signage, pavement markings, and the stripping and refinishing of existing traffic signal and street signage mast arms, and all incidental work related thereto All construction Work is separated out and included in two (2) Prime Contracts, for Contract No. 1 and Contract No. 3. Bids for each Contract shall be on a combination of unit and/or lump sum price basis. Bids for each Contract, when submitted, must be accompanied by (A) a Bid Security in an amount of 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders; and (B) all forms, statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in Article 7 of the respective Bid Form for each Contract. Bidder(s) attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wages and salaries in accordance with provisions of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 and contained in the Contract Documents for each Contract, must be paid throughout the duration of each Contract. Bids for each Contract may be held by Owner for a period of not to exceed sixty days (60) from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of a Contract.
