The Project, including Project Alternatives, includes the following Work: o Bituminous Pavement Parking Lot o Concrete Pavement, Concrete Sidewalk, Concrete Curb and Gutter, and Concrete Flume o Biofiltration Basins, Trench Drains, Erosion Control and Grading Construction Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Project. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. Prevailing wages will apply to this project. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening. The City of Ashland reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities herein, to reject any or all bids, and to award the Contract as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
