1. Installation, maintenance and removal of erosion and sediment control measures, including but not limited to compost filter sock, compliance with trench excavation procedures, and concrete washout. 2. Maintenance and protection of traffic. 3. Protection of existing trees, surfaces and items to remain. 4. Site clearing and grubbing of vegetation indicated to be removed. 5. Stripping of topsoil and excavation, bedding and backfill of water, sewer and electric utility trenches, including utility warning tape and rock removal. 6. Installation of 6" sanitary sewer main and cleanouts, including boring, excavation, dewatering, bedding, pipe and fitting installation and backfill. 7. Installation of 4" sanitary sewer laterals, including boring, excavation, dewatering, bedding, pipe and fitting installation, backfill and campsite sewer drop. 8. Installation of sanitary sewer cleanouts, including excavation, dewatering, bedding, pipe and fitting installation, cleanout cap, frame and cover and backfill. 9. Installation of 4" DIP and 4", 2 1/2" and 3/4 " HDPE water piping, including boring, excavation, dewatering, bedding, pipe and fitting installation, and backfill. 10. Installation of non-freeze sanitary yard hydrants. 11. Installation of gate valves, curb stops & curb boxes. 12. Installation of packaged booster skid and enclosure, including concrete pad. The tenth (10th) day after receipt of Notice to Proceed shall be the official starting date unless the ten (10) day period is extended in writing by the Secretary. It is understood that if the work is not completed within the time above specified or such extension thereof, as shall be granted in accordance with the General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for non-completion of work, the amount of Five Hundred dollars ($500.00) per day for each and every calendar day thereafter until the work shall be completed and accepted Contractor is to begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, and to complete work within Two Hundred Seventy (270) calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
