This Project will be going over the installation of Pickleball Courts and Facility upgrades at Allegheny County's South Park. Questions Due Date: Jun 25th 2024, 3:00 PM EDT Anticipated Notice to Proceed Date - August 2024 The Contractor shall commence the Work within 7 Days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed from the County, unless the Notice to Proceed states otherwise, and shall attain completion of the Work within 120 Days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed ("Contract time"), subject to adjustment in accordance with the Contract Documents. A general summary of Work is as follows: 1. Provide labor, materials, and equipment required to construct: new pickle ball courts with fencing; concrete bench pads and concrete shelter pad (new shelter install by others); improvements to existing basketball courts area and parking area; stormwater management facilities and landscape enhancements. Perform Work under following Prime Contracts: a. General Construction. 2. Remove and Dispose of Existing: a. Chain link fence, 8' and 10' height; concrete catch basins and storm pipe; utility pole; asphalt pavement (notably, asphalt millings can be re-used on-site to build up subbase under asphalt pavement area to meet new grades for pickleball courts). Approximate quantities of demolition included in the Project Drawings. 3. Furnish and Install: a. Chain link fence, 8' and 10' height, and gates; pickleball nets and posts; stormwater infrastructure, including new concrete catch basins, grates, HDPE pipe, a French drain and riverstone swale, and a rain garden; concrete flatwork; benches; asphalt pavement and line striping; concrete wheel stops. Approximate quantities of new work are included in the Project Drawings.
