Peckham Road Utility Pipeline Removal and Relocation All bids must be accompanied by a Business Relationship Affidavit and a Non-Collusion Bidding Certification and the Invitation to Bid. A cashiers check, certified check, or surety bond in amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Checks or surety bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders Upon completion of the Contract, the Contractor shall furnish to the County a satisfactory Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the final contract price, guaranteeing the maintenance of the work for a period of ONE (1) year after acceptance by the County. It is further agreed that the Contractor shall begin the work on the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed and to prosecute said work in such a manner as to complete all work contracted for within 75 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed shall become effective within 30 calendar days of the bid opening.
