The Skippack Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for its Skippack Township Tree Clearing Project. The work: Tree removal - All trees shall be limbed out. The debris from the limbs shall be chipped and dispersed throughout the tree removal area. The tree trunks shall be cut flush to ground level, not more than one inch above ground. Tree trunks are to be removed from the site. All debris shall be cleaned up and the site returned to conditions that were existing prior to work commencing as soon as possible. Care is to be taken to not disturb areas surrounding the work area. Any soil disturbed shall be returned to pre-work condition as soon as possible. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, and 100% Payment Bond are included in the contract documents. Prevailing state wage rates and Public Works Employment Verification Act will apply on this project . Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidder s. The Township of Skippack reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such an award as appears most advantageous to the Township.
