Renovation of a municipal facility in Freeland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Inquiries regarding this contract must be uploaded to online prior to September 16, 2024, at 3 pm. The project generally consists of removal of existing RTU (3) and installation of new combination duct and ductless Heating and Cooling System including all parts, labor and equipment. The bids must be completed online site and include a 5% Bid Bond made payable to Borough of Freeland including Surety's Consent by a firm licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania. Performance and Payment Bonds are required and the successful bidder is required to submit E-Verify form with the contract. The Work shall be substantially completed within 30 days days from Notice to Proceed and project closeout must occur by November 1, 2024. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days following Bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, payable to Freeland Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, shall promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance and shall prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. Freeland Borough reserves the right after opening Bids to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informality or to award any portion of the project. Bidders shall comply with funding requirements as listed in the Appendix, a part of this bid and the Contract Documents. Between $125,000 and $150,000
