Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Freeland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project generally consists of construction of stormwater inlets, piping, curbing, ADA ramps, milling and paving. The bids must be completed on the online site and include a 5% Bid Bond made payable to Borough of Freeland including Surety's Consent by a firm licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania. Performance and Payment Bonds are required, and the successful bidder is required to submit E-Verify form with the contract. The Work shall be substantially completed within 365 days from Notice to Proceed. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days following Bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, payable to Freeland Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, shall promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance and shall prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. . Freeland Borough reserves the right after opening Bids to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informality or to award any portion of the project.
