Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freeland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project generally consists of base repair, milling and paving. The bids must be completed on the online site and include a 5% Bid Bond made payable to Borough of Freeland including Surety's Consent by a firm licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania. Performance and Payment Bonds are required and the successful bidder is required to submit E-Verify form with the contract. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply and all bids shall include estimates for hourly rate of pay for labor and all other documentation required for compliance with the Act. The Work shall be substantially completed within 30 days from Notice to Proceed and project closeout must occur within 45 days of Notice to Proceed. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days following Bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, payable to Freeland Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, shall promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance and shall prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. Freeland Borough reserves the right after opening Bids to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informality or to award any portion of the project. Question Deadline 06/09/2025 at 12:00 PM ET
