All questions shall be submitted using Bidding Documents Website Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Work for this Project generally includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of approximately 185 L.F. of 8-inch PVC SDR-35 sanitary sewer pipe, surface restoration, and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Borough of Freeland Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough of Freeland Municipal Authority, and to reject any or all proposals.
