Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freeland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are being solicited for the Foster Township 2026 Road Program Project. The project will consist of bituminous overlay and a full depth reconstruction along various roadways in Foster Township, as well as a bituminous overlay of a walking path around a baseball field in Foster Township. Items of work are specified in the Project Specifications. The entire project will be awarded to one contractor. All bids must be submitted online through the PennBid Program. A certified check, bank draft, negotiable US Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, with approved corporate surety. Pennsylvania Wage Rates apply to projects over $100,000. This is a public works contract; bidders are subject to the Public Works Employment Verification Act and must submit the corresponding verification form. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all items or portions thereof, or to waive any technicalities in the bid in the owner's best interest. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty days after the bid opening date. Questions Due Date: Jun 25th 2026, 1:00 PM EDT online submission.
