Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

for the following item(s): AURORA TRAIL - PHASE 1 This Aurora Trail Phase 1 project consists of the construction of a ten-foot-wide asphalt trail along the existing abandoned railroad corridor between State Route 82 in Aurora and Chamberlain Road in Mantua. Additional work includes the installation of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon, crosswalk improvements at State Route 82, minor drainage upgrades, and installation of a 4-stall parking area at Chamberlain Road. Final completion is to be obtained on or before July 31, 2025. Estimate: $1,591,919.96 Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or digital or paper bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Such check or bid bond shall be made payable to the City of Aurora, Ohio and will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted, and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. If not providing a digital bid bond, wet-ink original bid bonds, checks, or letters of credit must be delivered to the Office of the Director of Public Service, Aurora Service Department, 158 W. Pioneer Trail, Aurora, Ohio, by the bid opening date and time. A fee of $40 will be incurred to bid electronically on a pay-per-solicitation basis; alternatively, vendors may subscribe for $50 per month to have access to all solicitations and email notifications. If any person contemplating submitting a BID for the proposed PROGRAM / PROJECT is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, they may submit through online a written request for interpretation thereof. In the case of disruption of national communications or loss of services by online within two hours prior to the deadline for submission of bids, the city will delay the deadline for bid submissions to ensure the ability of potential bidders to submit bids. If this occurs, instructions will be communicated to potential bidders. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City.
