This project includes the demolition and replacement of the existing single span bridge located in Paddock River Preserve on Trails End in Aurora, OH. The replacement structure is an 80', 6' wide modular, prefabricated boardwalk system bridge on concrete abutments. Included in the scope of work is trail work needed to accommodate the pro-posed bridge span and facilitation of access to the site. Cost Opinion: $472,577.50 Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or digital or paper bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Such check or bid bond shall be made payable to the City of Aurora, Ohio and will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted, and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured.
