Project Description: This project will install multiple stormwater control measures on multiple city-owned and purchased properties within the Geauga Lake Subdivision. Stormwater control measures are designed to reduce neighborhood flooding and include green infrastructure elements. This project is partially funded by a Hazard Mitigation Grant. The estimates for the proposed improvements: $339,416.00 Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or digital or paper bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Such check or bid bond shall be made payable to the City of Aurora, Ohio and will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted, and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. If not providing a digital bid bond, wet-ink original bid bonds, checks, or letters of credit must be delivered to the Office of the Director of Public Service, Aurora Service Department, 158 W. Pioneer Trail, Aurora, Ohio, by the bid opening date and time.
