Renovation of a municipal facility in Mercer Island, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of Jnauary 9, 2025 Project has not been awarded , Anticipated award date is on the First week of February ** Work to be performed under this contract includes but is not limited to: Green roof and asphaltic roof assembly removal, structural seismic retrofits including concrete grade beams, rough carpentry, and bracing select unbraced masonry walls, the installation of new roof assemblies and the replacement of roof areas selectively removed, the installation of stormwater conveyances, and the installation of site fencing and weighted fall prevention systems. Bidder questions are to be directed to Alaine Sommargren, Deputy Public Works Director, by email only at alaine.sommargren@mercerisland.gov. The City will receive questions until 5 pm on December 9, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities. A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total price must accompany each bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
