As of January 16, 2025, no contractor has been awarded, as the project came in over budget. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet. Avoca Borough Little League Club House Improvements Prospective Bidders Are Urged to Familiarize Themselves With the Site and Review the Scope of Work and Construction Documents. Any Contractor Who Does Not Do So and Submits a Bid Does So at Their Own Risk. Bid Security in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid, in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of Their Bid Amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of Their Bid Amount Within 15 Days of the Contract Being Awarded. This Project is Subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Project is Funded by a Grant From the Local Share Account (Lsa) Program Grant From the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and All Requirements of This Authority Are to Be Met by the Bidders. The Successful Bid Will Be Required to Submit Non- Discrimination/sexual Harassment Clause Which is Contained in the Contract Documents.
