The City of Greenville will accept sealed bids for the loading, hauling, and land application of liquid biosolids . Furnish all labor, material, and equipment to load and haul the liquid biosolids from the City of Greenville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), 205 Fairplains Street, Greenville, Michigan 48838, and apply to land on approved sites located within a 25- mile radius of the WWTP. The biosolids are to be hauled semi-annually from the WWTP Slurrystore storage tank. The estimated yearly total volume of biosolids is 800,000 gallons. The City of Greenville reserves the right to accept or reject any of all bids or to waive formalities and to award the bid in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Any questions about the loading, hauling, and land application requirements may be directed to the Superintendent of the WWTP at swheat@greenvillemi.org. Term of Agreement: The per gallon rate, hauling, and application of the liquid biosolids as awarded shall be fixed through December 31, 2027. The agreement may be extended for two (2) years if mutually agreed upon by both parties. Licenses and Permits: Prior to commencing any work, the successful bidder shall obtain and furnish the City with copies of all the necessary approvals and permits, including but not limited to, approvals and permits for equipment and the land disposal operation required by all governmental units and regulatory agencies.
