Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary for water main replacement along Forest Avenue. Project items include PCC pavement, water main, sidewalk, driveways, traffic control, restoration, and associated work. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. Work on the improvements shall not commence no earlier than June 2, 2025. Work shall be substantially complete on or before August 15, 2025. Substantial completion will be achieved upon full installation of operational water main and all driveways, and sidewalk pavement has been replaced. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said substantial completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that work remains incomplete. Remaining punch list items, restoration, and final seeding shall be completed by October 31, 2025. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total bid amount. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
