Renovation of a medical facility in Orange Park, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) is soliciting quotes from qualified Contractors for the replacement of an existing 5-ton Carrier split system with a new, more efficient 5-ton Carrier heat pump split system. This project includes the removal of the old HVAC system and the installation of new components including an air handler, heat pump condenser unit, 10kW heat strip, and auxiliary safety features like a drain pan and safety switch. The new system shall be connected to the existing copper lines, ductwork, and electrical infrastructure. Final completion shall be obtained thirty (30) days from the date of execution of the Agreement. System Assessment and Removal Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing HVAC system to document conditions and identify any potential challenges related to the removal. Safely decommission and remove the existing 5-ton Carrier split system air handler and heat pump condenser unit. Dispose of the old system components responsibly, adhering to environmental regulations for refrigerant and equipment disposa
