Construction Services Associated Phase 2 of the Minnesota Drain Storm Sewer Replacement The following is a general description of the Work to be completed under the Contract: o construction of a new precast concrete box culvert to convey the Minnesota Drain along a new alignment; o removal of the existing twin CSP culvert system currently conveying the Minnesota Drain; o construction of new storm sewer to connect existing drainage features to the new culvert and/or directly to the watercourse; o construction of a new pedestrian crossing (PXO) across Ontario Street immediately to the east of the intersection with Olde Towne; o reconstruction of existing infrastructure impacted by the new culvert and storm sewer construction and removal of the existing culverts including road and parking lot reconstruction (granular base, asphalt, curbs and sidewalk); o restoration works; and o watercourse realignment and stabilization works. o Bid Security required in the amount of $250,000.00 o Agreement to Bond ~ Performance Bond: 50% of the total Tender amount, and Labour and Material Bond: 50% of the total Tender amount Assuming that the Contractor is able to commence construction by no later than June 2, 2025, the contract is to be Substantial Performed by no later than December 5, 2025.
