This Invitation To Tender is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood to prospective bidders to submit binding bids for the provision of the Mountain Road and Tenth Line improvement works between Tenth Line and Cambridge Street, as further described in the ITT Particulars (the "Deliverables"). The following is a general description of the Work to be constructed under the Contract: 1.57 km of road reconstruction and widening on Mountain Road to an urban 5-lane cross section, new curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, 4 m wide asphalt multi use trail, and restoration of all associated disturbed areas, including driveways, topsoil, sod and surface elements within the boulevards. Construction of roundabout at Tenth Line and Mountain Road Intersection; and 1,175 m of sanitary sewer replacement and associated services and structures; 1,500 m of storm sewer installation and associated structures; 382 m of watermain replacement, service replacement, and hydrant replacement; Replacement and widening of existing bridge; Streetlighting and installation of a PXO Crossing; Restoration of all areas to existing condition or better Mandatory Disclosures: o Bid Security required in an amount equal to 10% of the tender price. o Agreement to Bond ~ Performance Bond: 50% of the total Tender amount, and Labour and Material Bond: 50% of the total Tender amount Time-frame for Delivery of Goods or Services, or the Duration of the Contract: Substantial completion December 2026.
