Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment and appurtenances for crack sealing for various streets and miscellaneous trench repairs at various locations throughout the Borough. Furnish materials and perform full depth pavement reconstruction of Constitution Boulevard consisting of excavation and preparation of subgrade, PennDOT Class 4 geotextile, 6" depth of PennDOT 2A Aggregate Subbase, 5" depth of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design Base Course, 25.0 mm, 1 1/2 " depth Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design Wearing Course, 9.5 mm, pavement markings and ADA curb ramps. The Proposal for the 2025 Street Improvements Project shall be accompanied by cash, money order, a certified or cashier's good faith check or a bond with corporate surety in the amount of at least 10% of the total Proposal. All Proposals shall be effective for sixty (60) days and must be completed within seventy-five (75) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount, said bonds to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Proposed Bidders shall be PennDOT Prequalified per PennDOT Specifications (PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01). Kutztown Borough reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Kutztown Borough, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. Kutztown Borough also reserves its right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informality in the Bid, and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid. Borough of Kutztown hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to accept or reject any and all Bids or portions thereof and to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints.
