Kutztown University may require performance of work order concrete construction. Work to consist of non-capital concrete construction, renovation, and repair; to include concrete stairs, curbing, sidewalks, walkways, ramps, and other miscellaneous concrete structures. Work shall include all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment, and performing all work necessary to complete work. It is the intent of the University to issue work order (unit-price) contracts to multiple qualified Concrete Construction contractors. Contract length will be one (1) year with four (4) optional one-year renewals. All work will be done strictly on an as-needed basis. In order to ensure the responsiveness of contractors, and in the best interests of the University, contractors must meet the following special requirements: Must be located within 50 miles (as the road drives) from the University. Contractors located outside of the 50 mile distance will not be considered. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this Invitation for Bids. Questions regarding this Invitation for Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM prevailing time on December 5, 2025. Answers to these questions and further administrative information shall be provided via Addendum #1 which shall be posted to the online bid page no later than December 9, 2025.
