Site work and paving for a civil project in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.

The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment and appurtenances for crack sealing for various streets and miscellaneous trench repairs at various locations throughout the Borough. Work also includes furnishing materials and removing and replacing existing storm sewer pipe and inlets at the intersection of South Maple Street and James Street, including full depth pavement reconstruction of that intersection and an alternate bid item for full depth reconstruction and overlay of access paths in Borough Park. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 10% of the total proposal, be effective for sixty days, and work completed within ninety calendar days of Notice to Proceed, or one hundred twenty calendar days if the base bid and alternate bid item(s) are awarded. The successful bidder must furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount, as well as a Certificate of Insurance for liability and worker's compensation insurance. The work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms, and bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified per PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid deemed most favorable, or waive informality, errors, or irregularities in any bid. Bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed as specified.
