The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment, and appurtenances for the removal and replacement of the existing storm sewer pipe and inlets for Keiter Alley, including trench restoration, full width variable depth milling, and a 1½” depth of superpave asphalt mixture design wearing course. Proposals must be submitted in triplicate and be accompanied by cash, money order, a certified or cashier's good faith check, or a bond with corporate surety in the amount of at least 10% of the total Proposal. All Proposals must be on the bid forms provided with the contract specifications and be effective for sixty days. The work must be completed within sixty calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount and provide proof of liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance. Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified per PennDOT Specifications. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and applicable wage rates. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any portion of a bid, or waive informality at its discretion. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents
