A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The razing, removing, and disposing of selected buildings, structures, foundations, obstructions, building slabs, concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, and selective piles of debris. B. Type of Contract 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The City of Aurora is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform structural demolition services as outlined in the bid. The Work consists of razing, removing, and disposing of selected buildings, structures, foundations, obstructions, building slabs, concrete pavement, asphalt pavement and selective piles of debris. Desired completion date is June 30, 2025. Required completion date is 60 days from Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 05/20/2025 at 10:00 AM ET Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or digital or paper bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Such check or bid bond shall be made payable to the City of Aurora, Ohio and will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted, and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured.
