The Griffin-Spalding County School System is soliciting proposals for Lawn Maintenance Services for FY2025. The Griffin-Spalding County School System is soliciting proposals for the 'Lawn Maintenance services required for designated locations around the school system. Qualified Contractors interested in providing a proposal for Lawn Maintenance shall be knowledgeable and adequately qualified to perform the work as described. Such Contractors shall have a minimum of 5 years experience in the related field of work and have experience in at least 5 Maintenance Contracts that are similar in scope and size as that specified. All interested contractors must provide the pertinent required data. Please read all materials enclosed before submitting a proposal. It is the responsibility of each person or company proposing to understand the scope of the work involved and to fully comprehend the work required. Enclosed with this package are a site plan and a narrative description of the work area at each site. Please ensure that the entire scope of the work being requested is fully understood prior to submitting a proposal. The school system encourages potential proposers to visit each site, to ensure all questions concerning the scope of work are clarified, and to fully understand the proposal package and scope of the work prior to submitting a proposal. This is a considerable commercial job requiring a total commitment from the contractor to get the job done. Time is of the essence, so the ability to keep the schedule and work around inclement weather is a must. This proposal is for the contract period of July 1, 2025 thru June 30, 2026. The contract period can be extended for up to two years, if mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and School System, and established in writing at least 30 days prior to the end of the contract period. All proposers should include in the proposal package the following items: (1) a list of at least five (5) references from previous jobs with addresses, phone numbers and contact names; (2) a completed Proposer's Qualification Form (provided); (3) a completed Proposal Cost Summary Sheet (provided); (4) a signed and dated Agreement and Certification Form (provided); (5) Copies of liability and workman's comp. insurance coverage as described herein; (6) any other materials which may be of use to the school system in determining the willingness and/or ability to do the proposed job.
