Demolition, site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Griffin, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

This scope of work would involve new building construction in the 117 E. Solomon space so the existing 119 Annex can remain functional during this time. Once the new construction in the 117 space is complete, County staff can relocate to the new construction so the renovation of the 119 Annex space may begin. The work in the 119 Annex will be phased to allow the Board of Commissioners to continue conducting business in the space. All questions must be submitted in writing. The last day/time for contractor questions is Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Questions after that date/time will not be addressed. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond completed on the attached Bid Bond Form with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or cash in equal amount. Performance & Payment Bond: Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount at least equal to 110 percent of the estimated contract amount, and a Certification of Insurance will be required. Substantial Completion: 150 calendar days maximum from the Final Completion: date of Commencement (Notice to Proceed). 180 calendar days from the date of Commencement The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
