The Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians are requesting sealed bid proposals from qualified contractors for new building construction and sitework for a Community Commercial Farm Kitchen located on the Red Cliff Reservation in Bayfield, Wisconsin. This project will provide space for entrepreneurs to process value added food in a licensed commercial kitchen. The proposed building site consists of a recently demolished building of the same size. Clean sand was used to fill and was compacted. There is existing utility infrastructure at the building site that was capped during building removal. This project will include planning and construction of the following structure and features A. A one-story multipurpose structure. Approximately half the space will be used for Kitchen and demonstrations and the other half would be used for flexible storage. B. The building needs to be approximately 2000 sq/ft with a walk-in cooler and freezer attached. C. Parking lot options The A&E provider shall use existing surrounding structures to develop styles and Review and refinement of all conceptual and schematic design plan needs identified. This will include additional meetings with the Red Cliff Project Team to further refine the build design and location, and to determine the most cost-effective approach to the architecture regarding modular vs. stick-built or other advantageous construction design options.
