Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rocky River, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All proposals shall be sealed and endorsed. Contractors shall be required to pay prevailing wages on this contract in accordance with Sections 4115.03 4115.06 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. The City of Rocky River reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The work contemplated consists of the removal and replacement of existing 4" sidewalk, 6" sidewalk, removal and replacement of curb ramps, including detectable warning devices. Curb construction associated with curb ramp reconstruction shall be included in the unit price for curb ramp replacement. No separate payment will be made. Any roots, one (1) inch or greater in diameter within the dripline of the tree that prevent installation of concrete to outlined specifications and must be cut shall be pruned with a concrete saw containing a diamond blade. The work contemplated shall include the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supplies for such other work as is herein described and in accordance with any contract drawing.
