DBE Goal Pending It is the policy of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) that firms certifiedbyODOTasDisadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) shall have equal opportunity tocompeteforandparticipate in agreements included in this request for Letters of Interest, either asaprimeconsultant or subconsultant. The Consultant must use good faith efforts toincludeDBEparticipation. Consequently, the requirements of Title 49 CFR Part 26 will apply. TheConsultantmust ensure that the DBE firms participating in the agreement are performinga"commerciallyuseful function" as defined in 49 CFR 26.55. This agreement includes a DBE Goal of PENDING %. At least this percent of theagreementshall be subcontracted to certified DBE firms. Project Description The CUY-US 020-06.53 project (PID 110943) is a federally funded roadway improvement projectlocated along Center Ridge Road (US-20) in the City of Rocky River, extendingfromSpencerRoad to Wooster Road. The scope of work includes full-depth pavement baserepairs, asphaltplaning and resurfacing, ADA-compliant curb ramp construction, selectivesidewalkandcurbreplacement, installation of landscaped median islands, traffic signal upgradesat keyintersections, pedestrian accessibility enhancements, pavement markings, signageinstallation,and decorative streetscape improvements. The selected consultant will provide full-time construction inspection and contract administrationservices in accordance with ODOT's Construction Inspection Manual of Procedures.Responsibilities will include documentation of daily field activities, coordinationwiththecontractorand ODOT representatives, materials testing and verification, pay itemtracking, changeorderdocumentation, public interface support, and ensuring compliance withfederal andstatespecifications, including ADA and MOT standards.
