Standby Generator Installation Question Deadline 07/10/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions concerning this bid will be received by email only and directed to: a. bid_department@greenwich.k12.ct.us. The inspection of the Work shall not relieve the Contractor of any of his obligations to perform and complete the Work as required by the Contract. Defective work shall be corrected and unsuitable materials, equipment apparatus and other items shall be replaced by the Contractor, notwithstanding that such work, materials, equipment, apparatus and other items may have been previously overlooked or accepted or estimated for payment. If the work or any part thereof shall be found defective at any time before the final acceptance of the work, the Contractor shall forthwith make good such defect in a manner satisfactory to the Town; if any material, equipment, apparatus or other items brought upon the site for use or incorporation in the work, or selected for the same, is condemned by the Town as unsuitable or not in conformity with the Specifications or any of the other Contract Documents, the Contractor shall forthwith remove such materials, equipment, apparatus and other items from the site of the Work and shall at his own cost and expense make good and replace the same and any material furnished by the Town which shall be damaged or rendered defective by the handling or improper installation by the Contractor, his agents, servants, employees or subcontractors.
