SCOPE OF WORK: _ Provide and install full station alerting services at multiple locations within the City of Twinsburg: o Fire Station 1: 10069 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087 o Fire Station 2: 2605 Glenwood Drive, Twinsburg, OH 44087 o Fire Dispatch Center: 10075 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087 _ Provide and install all necessary supplies, including wiring, LED configurable light strips, LED bulbs. _ Inclusion of minimum of one (1) year maintenance agreement and warranty of installation and equipment. SPECIFICATIONS: Alerting System minimum specifications: _ System must be compatible with TAC Software 911 interface _ Redundant Encrypted data transfer _ Must include digital voice dispatching _ Must have heart smart ramped/soft tones (start low and increase in volume) _ Configurable heart smart ramping LED lighting (dim to bright) _ Integration capabilities with existing station P.A. systems _ Must have ability to have station monitors (count down timers, maps, emergency data) _ 4G redundant capable backup _ 4G secure data transfer for use with iPad's and MOT's _ Able to integrate with GIS hydrant files _ Cloud based solution _ Each station control unit shall have Ethernet and cellular backup systems _ System shall have radio system alerting capabilities _ Internet access through alert system _ IP and port requirements to be included _ Internet remote access _ Must be initiated through physical access from the unit(s) _ Must have a comprehensive phone application _ Mapping, turn-by-turn navigation, incident information, etc. _ Must be adaptable so that each firefighter is only alerted when on duty and for the apparatus the firefighter is riding that day FIRE STATIONS: _ Ramping audio alert tones system _ Digital/automated voice dispatching for specific apparatus in each station _ System shall be able to control inputs on fire station PA system _ Ramping lights o Blue for Medical o Red for Fire o Yellow for Accidents o Green for other non-urgent calls FIRE DISPATCH CENTER: _ Digital/automated voice dispatching for all calls in the City of Twinsburg over Motorola Radio System interface The City of Twinsburg is soliciting sealed bids for the Furnishing and Delivery of an Alerting System. All bids must be submitted using the official Bid Forms and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders as outlined in the Contract Documents and Specifications, which are available from the Office of the Clerk of Council. Submission Requirements: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "BID FOR FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF AN ALERTING SYSTEM" All submissions must be on file with the Clerk by the deadline. The contract will be awarded to the selected bidder through a formal ordinance passed by the City of Twinsburg. The ordinance will authorize execution of the contract documents and provide for enforcement and applicable penalties in accordance with the law.
