The Project includes the following Work: A combination of approximately 22,600 LF of roadway crack filling, 34,600 SY of chip seal, 6,250 SY of seal coat, or 3,500 SY of slurry seal for Schmidt Road, Center Valley Road, Patrick Street, Twin Court, Panoramic Drive, Outlook Drive, Holland Road, and W2400 Schmidt Road Fire Station Parking Lot in the Town of Freedom, WI. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
