25027 Minnetonka Excelsior ES HVAC Replacement Systems: The EMS systems shall be supplied and installed completely under the EMS Contract. Control components shall be mounted and wired by the EMS Contractor. B. Installation: The engineering, installation, calibration, software programming and checkout necessary for complete and fully operational EMS systems, as specified hereafter, shall be provided by the EMS Contractor. The Electronic Micro-processor based Energy Management System (EMS) shall monitor the Data Environment and perform control functions in relation to a programmed strategy and the status of the data environment. 1. The system shall use solid state computer-based digital and analog technology. The system shall be standard with the manufacturer to ensure on-going parts availability and trained technical support. 2. The EMS shall be of the fully user programmable type requiring no special computer education for operation. Necessary instruction manuals and user orientation training shall be supplied by the manufacturer or authorized representative. The project consists of the replacement of existing 1956 Gymnasium HVAC unit, including associated Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical work.
