Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Farmington, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a clubhouse / community center; for paving for a clubhouse / community center; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Farmington, Missouri, (hereinafter "City") is accepting competitive bids for seal coating, crack sealing, and striping at the Farmington Civic Center, Water Park and First State Community Center. The address is Two Black Knight Drive, Farmington, Missouri 63640. This identification and repair shall be pursuant to the Bid Specifications included herein. The bid price shall include the materials required for the project, as well as all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and appurtenances to perform the work. This request is to perform necessary repairs at the Farmington Civic Center, Water Park and First State Community Center parking surface to include the following: Site preparation should include: o Spraying of all vegetation in cracks with Roundup Quick pro Dry Instant Kill where applicable before job date. o Cleaning all cracks with compressed air, wire wheel routing, and hand work to ensure all loose debris is removed. o Cracks 3/16" or larger should be injected with Nuvo CS Type C crack sealant not associated with alligatored areas (does not include asphalt and concrete joints). o Prime oil spots, heat, and scrape the excess oil off the pavement, and apply Tarloc MPC Oil Spot primer to promote adhesion of the sealer. Application should be completed according to specs below: o Each coat should be able to cure sufficiently to accommodate traffic between coats. o Allowing the final coat to dry overnight under good drying conditions before allowing traffic. o Striping of lines should be reapplied to the existing application, unless otherwise noted. o Only paint approved that meets Federal Specification TTP115# or TTP19852B should be used and applied using commercial striping equipment. Protection and site considerations that should be met include the following: o All barricades will be supplied and set up prior to commencement of work and removed from the job site after completion of the project. o The City will be responsible for having all parking areas cleared of vehicles. o The lot at the Farmington Civic Center, Water Park and First State Community Center should be completed in stages, to allow for continued operation of the facility. The coordination for this can be done with the Parks and Recreation Director. Bids should include: o Design details, equipment details, labor, miscellaneous parts, and any other applicable fees. o The company should perform the installation. No subcontracting should take place unless specifically disclosed in the bid. o List three (3) completed projects for reference and the scope of work completed. o Warranty should be noted with all bids. The City reserves the right to: o reject any and all submittals, o amend or cancel the RFSB at any time, o waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the submittals, o revise the schedule as the City sees fit, and o enter into any agreement deemed by the City to be in its best interest.
