Reference Number 0000409387 Question Deadline 02/13/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Any questions concerning this IFB must be sent to Jaime Flores, Procurement Administrator at jflores@tows.org The Town of West Springfield, through its Department of Public Works - Water Division, is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Southwick Wellfield Dehumidification Project which includes HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Architectural/Structural Work for the building located at 506 Shaker Road, Westfield, MA 01085. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % All work shall be substantially completed by January 29, 2027 with a final completion date of February 26, 2027. A $1,500/day penalty charge will be assessed if the contractor does not meet the specified final completion date. The contract shall be awarded by the Chief Procurement Officer, which reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any and all proposals or to take whatever action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of West Springfield. Bids will remain firm for sixty (60) days following the opening of proposals.
