Site work for a water / sewer project in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project primarily consists of furnishing all material and constructing approximately 1,550 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, 400 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, and 1,000 feet of gravel road construction. Work also includes, but is not limited to, tree clearing and brushing, wastewater bypass pumping, dewatering, and restoration. Contractor shall furnish all material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work. The contractor must coordinate all traffic control and work with MDOT due to concurrent work in the project area. Bidders must submit a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price with their bid, binding them for a period of 90 days after receipt of bids. Drawings and specifications are available online or at designated offices, with fees applicable for hard copies. Specific funding sources and requirements, including compliance with Davis Bacon wage rates and American Iron and Steel contractual language, are detailed for portions of the work. QA date - 12-11-2025 Questions to be addressed in the addendum will be received through 5:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the bid.
