The City of Benton Harbor is requesting bids for the construction of Lift Station Improvements. The project includes improvements to six existing lift stations, such as generator replacements, fencing, pump replacement, valve vault hatch replacement, driveway construction, plugging gravity sewer, electrical upgrades, and all associated removals. The Crystal Avenue lift station requires partial removal and abandonment of the existing lift station and the installation of a proposed duplex submersible lift station, control panel, valves, piping, and all associated appurtenances. Prospective bidders may request bidding documents from the issuing office. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents. The City reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City.
