The project primarily consists of furnishing all material and constructing approximately 90 feet of 21-inch sanitary sewer, lift station abandonment, and 50 feet of HMA roadway reconstruction. Work also includes maintenance of traffic, wastewater bypass pumping, dewatering, and restoration. The contractor shall furnish all material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work. Sealed bids will be received for the project. Drawings and specifications are available online or at the office of Prein&Newhof, and accessible only to active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. Hard copy drawings and specifications are available for a fee. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price with their bid. Federal Davis Bacon wage rates will apply. The contractor must ensure completion of the project within 40 days of starting construction and no later than October 30, 2026. The contract will be funded by the State of Michigan’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund program. It is the intent of these contract documents to be clear, complete and consistent.
