Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
Qualified bidders may submit bids for a project which includes, but is not limited to, the reconfiguration of existing restrooms, modification of existing MEP systems as required, installation of new finishes, and other work as defined in the Contract Documents at the Bobo Brazil Community Center, Benton Harbor Armory Phase II, 472 Cass Street, Benton Harbor, MI. Bids are to be for a general contract covering all trades. Federal funds are being used for the project and relevant state or federal requirements apply, including a local minority participation goal of 25% of the total construction cost, compliance with Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements, local income tax compliance, and additional federal funding provisions. Bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required. Bidders must be properly licensed, able to obtain required insurance and bonds, and not listed on governmentwide exclusions in the System for Award Management (SAM). Bids must be prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders and submitted as sealed lump sum bids. A prebid meeting and access to contract documents are available as outlined in the requirements. QA date - 11-13-2025
