The Port of Port Townsend is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms interested in providing on-call coastal engineering services during calendar years 2026 and 2027. The selected firm will provide task order-based engineering services for various projects, including work related to over water structures, bulkheads, breakwaters, boat yards, supporting grant applications, and other requested engineering tasks at Port-operated properties throughout East Jefferson County. Firms must submit Statements of Qualifications including: - Consultant or firm name, phone numbers, postal and email addresses - Identification of prime consultant (maximum 2 single-sided 8.5x11” pages) - Resumes of key personnel (maximum 5 single-sided 8.5x11” pages) - List of past projects with a brief description and reference contact information for each (maximum 3 single-sided 8.5x11” pages) - An optional one-page cover letter Submittals must be provided as an electronic copy in Adobe PDF format. Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on firm qualifications (including subconsultants), key personnel and task order contacts, relevant professional engineering experience (especially with port districts, municipalities, or government entities), and relevant experience supporting port infrastructure projects such as docks, floats, wharves, breakwaters, bulkheads, piers, and boatyards. The Port may choose to interview highest-ranking firms following evaluation.
