Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Commerce Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
The work involves providing data cabling and network components for the new Wixom Elementary. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on provided forms, sealed in an opaque envelope, and marked with the bidder's name and project name. A bid bond by a Treasury listed surety company or a cashier's check for at least 5% of the proposal sum is required for proposals over $31,321. Cashier’s checks must be delivered prior to bid opening if used for bid security. All proposals must be firm for sixty days. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the bid are required for successful proposals of $50,000 or more, and their cost must be included in each proposal. Bids must include sworn and notarized statements on familial relationships, Iran Economic Sanctions Act Compliance, Criminal Background Checks, and Prevailing Wage (LEO) Registration. Non-compliant bids will not be accepted. The Board of Education reserves all rights regarding bid acceptance.
